HI Patsy,

Hang in there. I don't know about your particular challenge, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that surgery won't be delayed. If it is, take a deep breath and hope for the best. I am sorry you have some drama to deal with.

Please let us know what happens.

Patsy,

I didn't have that problem but am adding you to my prayers list that they fix the things needed to be fixed so that you will have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovers too.  Please keep us posted.

Hugs,

i don't know about those things, patsy, and i'm sorry you are having problems, BUT... you do NOT want to go into surgery unless your body is up for it, and Dr. LePort's office will be sure you are ready... so... may God bless you and bring your body to a point where you are ready for this major surgery....

take care...

I have liver disease, and it didn't stop me from having surgery.  Matter of fact the doctor freaked when he saw my liver and they were going to send me to a specialist.  I told them before how my liver looked, it is/was 22 cm, which is very large and I have a rare disease that doesn't make it any better.  Since surgery, all signs of the disease are better, is not gone.  I would think tho if there is a problem with your blood tho, that may slow down your process, but ask your doctor, he should be able to tell you more.

Wishing you the best.

Thanks all for  the support. I was so frustrated just had to let it out. Diane i am glad that your disease is better and hope it stays that way.Your story gives me hope it won't be postponed again. Still waiting for my dr. to call me back but i will call them first thing in the morning. Whatever they ask me to do i do it right away.  then  i ask is there anything else they say no and at the last minute  someone calls and says oh there is one more thing. Anyway thanks for listening.

Hi Patsy...I can't help you with understanding either of your issues but I wanted you to know I'm here rooting you on! LOL   I know it is frustrating to have issues come up...but the doc is only concerned about your welfare and how you will do after surgery.  Remember this is MAJOR surgery...they are putting you OUT...and they want to be sure you WAKE UP!  May sound like I'm being over-dramatic..but I am serious.

I have a friend who was only 5 days away from her surgery when the doc postponed (not cancelled!) it due to her liver numbers not being good.  She was put on some kind of treatment...and after 3 weeks she was rescheduled for surgery...and is doing just great!

Hang in there, Patsy...trust your doctors...they want only the best for you.  And they do want you to be a success!  Keep us posted...I want to know how you are doing! ^_^
